Camp Ashreinu is for girls entering 1st through 7th grade.
Campers come from local and neighboring communities, including Bergenfield, Teaneck, Clifton, Passaic, Fair Lawn, Riverdale, Washington Heights, Upper West Side, and more. We welcome wholesome girls from Torah-oriented homes. Enrollment is limited to maintain a warm, intimate environment and build meaningful connections with each camper.
Camp Ashreinu is held at the beautiful, newly renovated Maayanot High School at 1650 Palisade Ave, Teaneck, NJ. Situated on a private cul-de-sac, the campus offers privacy and plenty of outdoor space, with convenient access to Queen Anne Road, stores, restaurants, and Rt. 4. The campus also boasts a beautiful multi-purpose room, a magnificent davening room and an indoor full court gym.

We hire kind, thoughtful frum and fun BY style high school girls as Counselors and Junior Counselors. Our staff reflect Camp Ashreinu’s values and are dedicated to creating a memorable summer.
At Camp Ashreinu, we believe that a truly special summer is about so much more than just fun! What makes Ashreinu unique is the warmth, personal attention, and genuine care that go into creating an environment where every girl feels valued and cared for, develops meaningful friendships, and grows spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Through thoughtfully planned programming, dedicated staff, and a wonderful balance of creativity, excitement, and ruach, we strive to provide a wholesome, nurturing Torah environment where every girl can shine and create unforgettable summer memories.
Behind every exciting day at Ashreinu is tremendous thought, creativity, and care! We put great effort into designing a well-rounded program that is not only packed with fun, energy, and excitement, but also filled with meaningful experiences and opportunities for growth.
From sports, swimming, arts, dance, and creative specialty activities to meaningful chinuch, team-building, and plenty of ruach, our thoughtfully planned schedule offers a wonderful variety of activities that encourage creativity, build confidence, develop new skills, and foster friendships. For example, during the Nine Days, campers created their own tzedakah boxes while learning about the importance of chesed and the impact of giving to others. Add in exciting trips, special events, camp-wide productions, and plenty of surprises, and you have all the ingredients for an unforgettable summer!
Swimming is one of the highlights of summer at Ashreinu! Our beautiful above-ground pools are conveniently located right on the Maayanot campus, at the far end of the parking lot, and are fully enclosed by privacy fencing to provide a comfortable, tzanua swimming environment.
One of the greatest advantages of having our very own pools is the flexibility to swim throughout the camp day, without the need to travel off campus! This allows us to incorporate swimming into our daily schedule with ease and flexibility. Safety and professional supervision are always a priority. Our pools are overseen by a Certified Pool Operator, and our swimming staff includes certified lifeguards led by our experienced Head Lifeguard, Mrs. Carolyn Stein, who brings over 30 years of experience in aquatics.
We are also exploring the possibility of offering instructional swim for our younger campers in Summer 2027, with more details to follow as our plans are finalized.
With the convenience of our own pools, dedicated swimming staff, and a wonderful atmosphere, swimming at Ashreinu is an exciting and refreshing part of every camp day!
Trips are a HUGE part of the excitement at Camp Ashreinu! We take pride in planning an incredible variety of fun, memorable adventures that give our campers opportunities to explore, try new things, and create wonderful memories with their friends!
Some of our amazing trips from last summer included boating on beautiful Lake Hopatcong at Lakeview Marina, an unforgettable day at Darlington Park enjoying the splash pads and Wibit inflatable water obstacle courses, and a spectacular trip to DreamWorks Water Park at American Dream, rented out exclusively for Jewish girls' camps! Other favorites included Topgolf, bowling, rock climbing adventures at HAPIK, and cheering on the Rockland Boulders at a baseball game!
From thrilling water adventures to sports, entertainment, and exciting new experiences, our trips add another wonderful dimension to the fun and friendships that make summer at Ashreinu so special!
Sports are an exciting part of every day at Ashreinu! Our dedicated Sports Director introduces campers to a variety of sports and games, helping girls develop new skills, build confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship along the way.
Our beautiful Maayanot campus features a full-sized indoor gymnasium, which our campers enjoy daily, as well as outdoor spaces for additional sports and activities. Whether learning a new game, working together as a team, or simply enjoying some friendly competition, our sports program emphasizes participation, skill-building, achdus, and, of course, lots of fun!
Chinuch is an integral part of the Ashreinu experience! Our Head Counselor, Mrs. Rachel Burg, a talented and seasoned educator, thoughtfully develops an engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable chinuch program tailored to each grade level. Using the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation's (CCHF) girls' camp curriculum as a foundation, she enhances it with creative activities and interactive discussions that bring Torah values and middos to life. Each grade enjoys a daily chinuch period led by our dedicated Head Staff, who serve as chinuch counselors.
Designed especially for girls entering 6th and 7th grade, V’Ahavta combines everything they love about Camp Ashreinu with exciting new opportunities for growth, friendship, and leadership!
A special emphasis is placed on encouraging our oldest campers to serve as role models and leaders throughout camp. Through our Big Sister–Little Sister program, they build meaningful connections with our youngest campers while developing confidence and leadership skills. They also take an active role in special camp-wide events—last summer, our V’Ahavta girls did an incredible job organizing and running the entire camp carnival!
V’Ahavta girls enjoy extra privileges and special experiences throughout the summer, including weekly late nights, exclusive activities, and exciting adventures designed especially for our oldest campers!
And here's what makes V’Ahavta EXTRA special: Our girls enjoy an exclusive V’Ahavta trip EVERY SINGLE WEEK, in addition to all the exciting trips they enjoy with the rest of Camp Ashreinu! Our V’Ahavta girls have enjoyed some incredible adventures! From a memorable day at the Jersey Shore, complete with a boardwalk stroll, sandcastle competition, and picnic lunch, to a specially designed scavenger hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC! Other highlights included a scenic Hoboken ferry ride, a beautiful nature hike in Englewood, and a fun-filled visit to American Dream for glow-in-the-dark mini golf, the Mirror Maze, and ice cream!
V’Ahavta also has its very own dedicated Division Head, who works closely with the girls throughout the day, creating an incredible program while giving each camper the personal attention and care she deserves.
Add in exclusive V’Ahavta swag, special friendships, and plenty of opportunities to lead, learn, laugh, and grow, and you have an unforgettable summer filled with excitement and ruach!
Campers’ safety is our top priority. The Maayanot campus is fully enclosed and secured by an armed guard. Visitors require a pass to enter the facility.
All camper medical forms are reviewed by our certified camp nurse, who provides professional oversight and guidance regarding campers’ medical needs throughout the summer. Additionally, our Head Staff members are trained in advanced CPR and First Aid and are available to address minor injuries or health concerns. In the event of a serious medical emergency, we will contact Hatzalah or 911.
Yes. Camp Ashreinu is nut-free, including peanuts and tree nuts. Please avoid sending any food labeled “may contain nuts.”
Camp Ashreinu encourages girls to enjoy active, fun programming while following tznius guidelines that promote modesty, respect, and comfort.

Yes! Buses are available from Teaneck, Bergenfield, Fair Lawn, Passaic, Clifton, Riverdale, Washington Heights, and the Upper West Side at an additional cost. Most routes operate with central or corner stops, and we make every effort to provide bus counselors for a safe and pleasant ride.
Busing fees and available locations can be found on our Camp Rates page. We encourage families to register early to secure their child's spot and lock in the lowest available rate.
Interested in busing from another area? We are happy to explore adding new bus routes from communities such as Monsey, Pomona, or other locations, provided there is sufficient interest and enrollment. A minimum number of campers is required before a new route can be guaranteed. If you are interested, please contact our bus liaison, Mrs. Shira Neger, at bus@acheinudaycamp.com so we can explore the possibilities! Please CC Mrs. Pomerantz at billing@acheinudaycamp.com to ensure your inquiry receives a timely response, as Mrs. Neger works limited hours during the winter months.
A $100 deposit per camper is required to reserve a bus spot and must be received within one week of registering for busing. All busing fees are non-refundable once registered, even if a family later withdraws.
Bus registration closes May 2, 2027, to allow sufficient time to coordinate safe and efficient routes with the bus company.
Yes. Hot lunch is available at an additional cost, or you may send a bagged lunch. Lunch is provided by Kosher Experience and EJs Pizza once a week. You can register for lunches through your Parent Dashboard. Menu will be posted on the Parent Dashboard and the camp website before camp begins.
You will need to create an account on CampSite via our website. Once your application is submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Applications take about two weeks to process. If your camper is new to camp, we will contact the teacher, or principal listed on the application. Please ensure all information is accurate, as errors can delay processing. Once your camper is accepted, you will receive an acceptance email along with a statement reflecting the cost of camp including bussing and lunches if you signed up for them.
To secure your daughter's spot, a $400 non-refundable registration deposit is required within one week of acceptance and can be paid via Zelle, credit card, or check. Full tuition is due by May 2, 2027. Balances, payments, and required forms can be managed through your Parent Dashboard.
The registration deposit is non-refundable. After May 1, 2027, all tuition is non-refundable. In accordance with Camp Acheinu and Camp Ashreinu's policies, parents are responsible for the full tuition amount for the session in which their child is enrolled, regardless of attendance, withdrawal, or dismissal.
